Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for The Developer School Pro subscriptions and donations.

Overview

The Developer School sells access to digital services — Pro subscriptions that unlock adaptive tests, the full ATS report and unlimited practice. Because access is delivered instantly and used online, refunds are handled as described below. Payments are processed by Razorpay; approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

Cancelling your subscription

  • Pro is a fixed-period plan (e.g. monthly). We do not auto-charge or auto-renew — there is no recurring deduction to cancel.
  • You can stop at any time simply by not renewing. Your Pro access stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, after which your account returns to the free tier.
  • You do not lose your account, certificates, test history or Developer Score when Pro access ends.

Refund eligibility

As Pro is a digital service with immediate access, fees are generally non-refundable once the benefits have been used. However, we will review refund requests in good faith and may issue a full or partial refund in cases such as:

  • You were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate / double payment).
  • Money was debited but the subscription was not activated due to a technical or gateway error.
  • You were charged but did not access or use any Pro feature, and you request a refund within 7 days of payment.
  • A verified billing error on our side.

Non-refundable cases

  • Pro periods that have already been substantially used.
  • Change of mind after meaningfully using paid features.
  • Failure to use the subscription during its active period.
  • Voluntary donations (see below).

Donations

Donations are voluntary contributions to support the Platform and are non-refundable, except in the case of a clear duplicate or erroneous transaction. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us within 7 days.

How to request a refund

Email us at mp17govind96@gmail.com (or use our Contact page) from your registered email with: your name, registered email, the Razorpay payment/order ID, the amount, and the reason for the request. We may ask for additional details to verify the transaction.

Processing time

We aim to review refund requests within 3–5 business days. If approved, the refund is initiated through Razorpay to your original payment method and typically reflects within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
